Preparation of coffee manually, requires a bit of effort, but it gives you a rare pleasure of brewing a cup of coffee. You also have the advantage to witness the exactly brewing process and change the content of the mixture according to your wish. What is even more advantageous is the fact, that manual drip coffee is fresher than a machine made coffee.

People prefer manual drip coffee over coffee machines for a variety of reasons. Firstly, it depends upon the country you come from. It is normally seen that people from coffee growing countries are more inclined to have a hand made cup of coffee. The taste of manually brewed coffee has a raw flavor, perhaps more aroma than coffee made in a machine.

The cost of buying coffee machine also plays a part, as many would find tough to shell out money to buy a coffee machine. It makes more sense to drink a manual drip coffee, rather than spending $100 to buy a coffee machine.

Many people hate the idea of brewing coffee from permanent filters, and they like to make a cup of coffee from a fresh paper filter, each time they drink. Finally, coffee machines are not easy to maintain, you may have to change filters regularly, wash the container, and make necessary repairs, if necessary.
