For me, the best coffee make is a flavia, cup at a time maker. My wife likes the costa Rica coffee, I prefer the Kona.

Mom has a drip maker, which I used for years, but I am trying to only drink a cup or two a day, and the best filter coffee maker generally makes an entire pot at a time.

In the video, you used a paper filter. For this particular model, is it better to use a gold filter vs. a paper filter?

I’ve heard so much about the Technivorm but I can’t seem to find any around where I live to actuallly taste the coffee first.

I think it’s a personal preference kind of thing…the paper filters may take out more oils than the gold, so I think it does make a difference in the flavor. – Kat
